Aaron Ramsey🙏 Edging Closer to Juventus Move🔁

Aaron Ramsey🙏 Edging Closer to Juventus Move🔁

Aaron Ramsey is edging closer to joining Juventus in the summer, as per reports.

With his contract expiring at the end of the season, the Wales international is able to speak to European clubs this month in order to secure a move.

Reports of the 28-year-old having already signed a pre-contract agreement with Juventus are premature and he has not yet carried out a medical.

However, Juventus are his preferred destination despite interest from a number of Europe's top clubs.

Juventus made public their interest in Ramsey on January 2, with sporting director Fabio Paratici confirming the club were monitoring his situation.

Juve have remained first choice for Ramsey, who will move on from Arsenal after 11 years with the club.

Chelsea & Monaco Close to 💫Cesc Fabregas Deal📝

Chelsea & Monaco Close to 💫Cesc Fabregas Deal📝

Chelsea and Monaco are close to agreeing a deal for Cesc Fabregas to move to the Ligue 1 side, as per reports.

The Spanish midfielder has struggled to break into Maurizio Sarri's starting XI this season, and has played just six times for the Blues in the Premier League.

The 31-year-old's Chelsea deal expires at the end of the season, and he is now understood to be close to a reunion with former Arsenal team-mate Thierry Henry.

The ex-Gunners forward is head coach at Monaco, but has a battle on his hands to keep the 2017 Ligue 1 champions in the division.

They are three points away from safety and lie 19th in the table after just three wins from 18 matches.

Fabregas' departure would be a blow for Chelsea head coach Sarri, who has previously expressed his desire for the player to remain at Stamford Bridge.

Was Offered to Napoli Before Juve Move

Was Offered to Napoli Before Juve Move

Cristiano Ronaldo was offered to Napoli before making a €100 million (£90m/$114m) move to Juventus, claims the Serie A club’s sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli.

Once it became apparent that the Portuguese was looking to take on a new challenge, his agent was charged with the task of finding a potential buyer.

With Jorge Mendes having previously conducted business with Napoli, they were among his first ports of call.

Ronaldo has claimed on a number of occasions that Juve were always his preferred option when pushing for a switch away from Real Madrid.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner could, however, have ended up in a different Italian destination had the figures involved in a stunning deal not forced one party from the negotiating table.

Giuntoli told Sky Sports Italia: "We [Napoli] have a close relationship with Jorge since [Faouzi] Ghoulam's contract renewal and we often speak to him.

"I was with [Napoli chairman Aurelio] De Laurentiis when he made the offer to us.

"We went quiet and upon going into the details of the operation we realised that it was out of our reach."

Defoe Set to Join Rangers on 18-Month Loan Deal

Defoe Set to Join Rangers on 18-Month Loan Deal

Rangers have reached an agreement to sign Jermain Defoe on an 18-month loan deal that will take the former England international up to the end of his contract with Bournemouth.

Defoe, who turned 36 in October, joined Bournemouth on a free transfer from Sunderland in July 2017 but has made only four Premier League appearances this season, all from the bench, and has not scored since March last year.

Although it seems unlikely that Defoe will play for Bournemouth again – the three-year contract he signed will have expired by the time he finishes at Rangers – the Premier League club have inserted two recall clauses in the loan agreement, giving them the option to bring him back. The first clause can be activated in July 2019 and the second in January 2020. Defoe will join up with Rangers, who are second in the Scottish Premiership, on their warm-weather training camp in Tenerife.

Meanwhile, Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhüttl has confirmed midfielder Steven Davis is set to rejoin Rangers.

The 34-year-old Northern Ireland captain looks set to return to Ibrox, having left to sign for Saints during the summer of 2012.
